Training Options
Whether you want to learn to communicate more effectively with your new puppy, are struggling to manage nuisance behaviors, or just don't have the time to train as often as your dog needs, Canine Coevolution has you covered with training that fits every busy schedule across the St. Louis area and virtually.
All of our training is science-based and rooted in positive reinforcement techniques. We do not use choke, shock or prong collars under any circumstances.
Puppy Training
Private puppy sessions for dogs under 6 months old to address potty training, house breaking, nuisance chewing, jumping, and play biting along with creating a solid foundation for obedience. Unlike puppy classes, these sessions can provide proper, real-world socialization for your developing pup.
Adult Obedience Training
Obedience training for dogs over 6 months old to address manners and build foundational skills or elevate your dogs' existing training to a much higher-level.
Behavioral Training
Behavioral Modification using positive reinforcement techniques to address problem behaviors such as leash reactivity, guest reactivity, fearful escape, and mild resource guarding.
Assessments
(In Home & Virtual)
Assessments are a great way to get expert consultation on your particular situation with your dog. These can be done in the home or virtually, and are offered at a lower cost than standard in-home training. Great for potty training issues, mild cases of separation anxiety, and 'strange' behaviors you might need help understanding how to addres.
Why In-Home Training?
Private, in-home training is the gold standard for training high-level obedience and performing modification for unwanted behavior. Why? Your environment has a big impact on your dog's learning. If a dog learns something in one place, for example, a training facility, they won't necessarily be able to perform at the same level when they come back home to you. Training directly in and around your home is the fastest and simplest way to build the stress-free relationship you deserve with your dog.
We design a custom, holistic approach for every dog we train, and provide coaching and support to help you develop your training skills from the comfort of your own home.
